Rebecca Farnell is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 20 years of experience in the helping profession. Her approach is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy, built on the belief that every individual has inherent worth and value. She works from an Attachment based lens grounded in AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) work. She views each client with curiosity, not a problem to be fixed. She does not want to pathologize or blame clients and strives to look for glimmers of hope and growth.
Rebecca has training in play therapy and well as specialized training in Neuro Affirming play therapy. She works best with children (ages 6-12), teens, adults and families. Rebecca desires to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and accepted. She is honored to walk alongside each person as they navigate life’s challenges, explore meaningful change, and take steps toward healing and growth. Rebecca considers it an incredible privilege to have people share their lives and experiences with her—it is something she never wants to take for granted. Every client she works with teaches her something new, and she is truly better for having known them. Offering Services for:Neurodiverse individuals (and their families)
