Yolanda Nuanyan Wang is a Registered Dietitian and an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer. She graduated from UBC with a Dietetics Major and Kinesiology Minor degree.
Yolanda currently works at BC Brain Wellness Program at UBC as a research dietitian, developing recipes for Ketogenic, Mediterranean, and MIND diets. Previously, Yolanda worked at BC Children's Hospital in the Healthy Minds Center, Complex Feeding and Nutrition Clinic, Multi-organ Transplant Clinic, Cystic Fibrosis Clinic, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, as well as the gestational diabetes clinic at BC Women's Hospital.
Yolanda is passionate about working with clients to develop healthy and satisfying lifestyles that will benefit them over their lifetime. If you have questions for you/your loved ones regarding food choices, weight gain/loss, malnutrition, and/or constipation, Yolanda will work together with you/your family to find an appealing solution. Yolanda's clients range from picky eaters, selective toddlers, and children who fell off the growth curve/"failure to thrive", to children and adults who have concerns about body weight, and adults with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's Disease.
Services include online one-on-one nutrition counselling (people within the same household and/or partner are welcome upon consent) and in-person grocery tours at clients' local grocery stores.
