ICBC FAQs

  1. How Much Will Treatment Cost Me?
ICBC pre-approves a set number of treatments within the first 12 weeks following a motor vehicle accident, and these are fully covered. If you’re seeing Dr. Chayanne Khodabandeh, DC, you're eligible for comprehensive care — with no out-of-pocket costs to you during the approved treatment period. Some other services at Satori might have a user fee, please inquire.

  1. Can you bill ICBC directly?
Yes. We handle direct billing to ICBC, so you can focus on your recovery.

  1. I'm hesitant to try chiropractic care after my accident—what should I expect?
Many people assume chiropractic care always involves spinal adjustments, but that’s not the case—especially after a motor vehicle accident. In trauma-related cases, care is focused on gentle, evidence-informed techniques like joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy, range of motion work, and stabilization exercises. Our goal is to reduce pain, restore movement, and support recovery in the safest, most comfortable way possible—tailored to your injury and comfort level.

5. Conservative Care for Motor Vehicle Accident Recovery

Recovering from a motor vehicle accident often requires a team-based approach. Conservative therapies like chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture, and counseling each play a role in addressing soft tissue injuries, joint stiffness, headaches, and movement limitations
1. Research supports that combining multiple therapies may lead to better outcomes—reducing pain, improving function, and preventing long-term issues
2. At our clinic, we offer integrated care tailored to your recovery, helping you move better, feel better, and get back to life safely.
