Hi Cristina, I just weighed myself this morning and I am down 15lbs... it has been an amazing transformation for me to get here in the past 2 months. I didn't actually think it was possible... When I first called Cristina I was a mere 98Ibs with multiple food allergies, I am now weighing in at 125Ibs and feeling much better. Hi Cristina, I thought you might like to know that I passed my RCMP Pare test today. I just wanted to say thanks so much for all of your extra efforts in getting my muscles and body weight back on track. Your nutritional tips and suggestions were fantastic and all of your advice certainly made it more possible for me to train hard during these past 4 weeks. I was able to build the extra muscle and strength that I needed to be competitive on this test. I've almost reached my goal weight as well, I hit 124 lbs as of today. Hi Cristina, I just wanted to thank you for your interest in teaching this course. It has been one of the best classes I've taken at UBC and I would credit a large part of that to your personal knowledge and examples from outside of the curriculum. On a personal note, I talked to you during the first week of class about some helpful suggestions to losing weight in a healthy manner. I've been able to take what I've learned from this course and have lost 19.5 pounds since September 1 so far. I'm also certain that I've put on some muscle mass and I've lost 5% body fat. Coming to class 2 times a week has definitely helped to keep me focused on my eating habits for sure and hopefully they've changed enough by now that they will continue.
