Hypnosis is a state of increased suggestibility and concentration where the conscious, critical mind becomes an observer and allows direct communication with the subconscious mind. Here, the therapist can assist the client to make changes at the deep subconscious level and create new positive feelings and emotions to replace specific negative ones.
